A surprisingly well-polished and complete game, Them's Fightin' Herds is a fairly standard 2D fighter notable for smooth animations and a dynamic sound track. Early 2018 finally saw the Early Access release of the horse-based fighting game with character design from acclaimed animator Lauren Faust. Herd stampedeĪfter a cease and desist from Hasbro and a quick name change back in 2015, Them's Fightin' Herds dropped official references to My Little Pony and began a crowd-funding campaign with the aim to become a separate entity drawing inspiration from the popular TV show. Originally conceived as a My Little Pony fan game, the project evolved into a unique creation through crowd-funding. Them's Fightin' Herds is a traditional 2D fighting game featuring a roster of four-legged animals.
